5. HP Stream 11-Inch Laptop
The HP Stream 11-Inch Laptop is definitely a powerhouse. It has a high specification with the usual features of a top of the line notebook. When I got my laptop at home I was not pleased to find out that it did not come with the Windows XP Home or a CD-Rom drive, so I had to download my operating system from my Internet browser and install it manually. The nice thing about that was that the performance of the system was pretty much the same as with the XP.
My laptop did require a new keyboard and mouse but other than that everything else was as it was with my older HP Stream 13-Inch Laptop. If you are looking for a new machine that will give you all the features and performance of a more expensive machine this should be your best option. I bought this laptop at half price and got it installed by my mother in order to get a Windows XP Home, a DVD burner and an Internet connection. This took me quite a while to finish though as I am used to using Windows XP with all its power, speed and efficiency.
My HP Stream 11-Inch Laptop also came with an Intel Core Duo processor which is better than the Pentium, which comes with the original machine. With this processor the laptop ran faster, more efficient and had more than enough memory to satisfy my computer usage needs. The design of the machine is very comfortable and stylish, which made me really want to keep it for a long time and use it for a lot of games, editing, creating music or videos. I am really satisfied with my choice of the HP Stream 11-Inch Laptop. The added features I have found for it are, no buttons to press and no box to open, just the smooth and soothing sounds of the operating system.
