The online multiplayer game challenges players to survive on a remote island against 99 other players, all competing for the same goal: be the last one standing. With its intense and unpredictable gameplay, PubG has quickly become one of the most popular games in the world. 

    PubG Esport, as its popularity has grown, so too has the phenomenon of PubG Esport. Just like traditional sports, esports is competitive gaming that is played professionally in front of a live audience. PubG Esport is just beginning to take off, but it is already attracting millions of viewers each week.

    How PubG Esport growing as Traditional Esport:-

    As esports continues to grow, many believe that it will one day be as popular as traditional Esports. And like any other professional sport, the athletes making up the game’s top competitors are paid well for their talents.

    Not only is this new form of entertainment becoming more profitable, but it is also beginning to be taken more seriously as a competitive event. Many different initiatives have been created to formalize and support PubG Esport, such as the Professional PUBG League (PPL).

    Things To Know About PubG Esport Competitive:

    The game of PubG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) is currently being played in esports competitions. The game has gained immense popularity in a very short time. There are many players who want to participate in the game at a competitive level. This has led to the formation of various leagues and tournaments for the game. The biggest part of this competition is based on the world rankings. The game has gained immense popularity all over the world. There are more than 2 million people playing the game every day. Here are some of the biggest tournaments that are played for PubG Esport:

    PUBG Global Invitational 2018 

    This is one of the biggest PubG Esport tournaments held so far. It was held in Berlin, Germany, from 20th to 23rd July 2018. There were 20 teams consisting of 50 players who competed for a prize pool worth US$2 million. The players included big names like Team Liquid, Cloud9, Na’Vi etc. From Korea, there were KSV eSports along with Gen.G Gold, who reached the finals. In the end, KSV eSports won the tournament and took home the prize money.

    PUBG Europe League 

    The PUBG Europe League is a professional competitive gaming league for the game of PubG. It was founded in September of 2018. The league consists of 10 teams who compete for a prize pool of US$1 million. The league is divided into two parts: the first being the regular season and the second being the playoffs. The finals are to be held in Madrid, Spain, in 2019. Some of the teams competing are Team SoloMid, FaZe Clan, Natus Vincere etc.

    PubG  Esport Korea League 

    This is the official league for PubG in South Korea. The game has seen immense popularity there and thus is home to some of the best players in the world.

    PUBG MOBILE STAR CHALLENGE – GLOBAL FINAL

    This tournament was held on July 13th, 2018. It offers a prize pool of US$600,000. It was held at the Mercedes Benz Arena in Shanghai, China. The event hosted 16 teams with 20 professional players each. There were players from all over the world, including Korea, Japan, Europe and even North America. The overall winner was Gen.G Gold, who took home prize money of $400,000.

    PUBG Mobile Star Challenge – Indian Finals 

    This competition was held at the MetLife Stadium in Mumbai on May 19th 2018. It is an FPP (First-Person Perspective) mode tournament. There were more than ten teams that competed for a prize pool of Rs. 1 crore (1 million Indian Rupees). The event was hosted by NODWIN Gaming. The final match was between Entity Gaming and OpTic India. In the end, Entity Gaming emerged victoriously and took home the prize money.

    These are some of the biggest tournaments that are currently being played for PubG Esport. The game has gained immense popularity in a very short time, and this is reflected in the competition that is being held for it. Pubg Esport players who participate in these tournaments are some of the best in the world, and the competition is fierce. PubG is sure to see more big tournaments in the future as the game continues to grow in popularity.
